Prep Band has temporally been discontinued due to lack of participants. We hope to continue the Prep Band after the first of the year. This is an opportunity for musicians who are looking to reengage in an instrument previously played or are picking up a new instrument prior to joining the main band. For additional information or questions please email westerlyband@yahoo.com and a band member will get back to you.
Main Band has regular rehearsals at the Westerly Armory on Wednesday nights from 7:30 -9:00PM
The Westerly Band is 501(c3) non-profit community-based volunteer organization providing musical entertainment, cultural support and training to our young and old members alike. We participate in a verity of events: parades, outdoor concerts in the park, memorial ceremonies and indoor seasonal concerts.
We annually award monetary scholarship to a high school senior to assist with the cost of attending college and universities. Scholarship donations welcome.
